From Puerto Morelos
This is an easy day trip from Puerto Morelos hotel zone.
You can take a bus or a colectivo van from Puerto Morelos to the Cancun city bus station and from there catch a taxi to Grand Puerto ferry dock in Puerto Juarez. To take the bus or colectivo van you will have to get to Hwy 307 bus stop. This is the least expensive way, the bus is 32 pesos per person, a taxi to the bus stop in Puerto Morelos, 40 pesos for up to four passengers, and a taxi from the bus station to Puerto Juarez will be about 100 pesos for up to four passengers. Total trip cost one way, approx. 172 pesos. This way will also take the longest to get there.
The quickest way would be to hire a taxi in the square in Puerto Morelos and go direct to the ferry for about $450 pesos one way for up to four passengers.

The ADO bus is 74 pesos per person and a taxi from Cancun bus station to Puerto Juarez ferry is about 100 pesos. A taxi direct from Playa del Carmen to the Puerto Juarez ferry dock will be approx 800 pesos. You may be able to negotiate a better price.
