1. The first page of your passport that shows your picture, passport number etc. Leave one at home with someone who can send it to you if you need it, scan a copy and e-mail it to yourself. 2. Front and back of bank or credit cards, the back of your card has the 800 number you can call if your cards or lost or stolen. 3. If you wear perscription glasses or contact lenses, take a copy in case you lose or break your glasses, you can replace them with something until you get home. 4. | Get it all organized ..We place all of our documents into a zippered pencil pouch (see photo), and place each document in it as we find it (you can also use a large envelope). Then, we print out two document checklists and tape them to the envelope. As we find documents and place them inside, we check it off our list. Use the second list to double-check that you have everything, while you are in the car, backing down the driveway. This will help eliminate the risk of getting to the airport and not having one of those important documents. |
