A few seasonal closings, these restaurants will be closed for all or a part of September
I will update as I hear of others. This time of year when business is slow many businesses will close for remodeling, or vacation time.

A permanent closing I just heard about;
Chile Locos on Hidalgo has closed their doors. Very sad to see an “Isla institution” close.
We wish Jorge and everyone at Chile Locos good luck at whatever they plan to do next. They will be missed

Sad to report one of our long time favorites on Isla has closed #E10 on the map.

New golf cart prices

A golf cart on Isla Mujeres now rents for 500 pesos for the day, that is back by 5 pm
A 24 hour rental is now 600 pesos.
You must be a licensed driver to drive a golf cart, children are not allowed to drive carts.
You will have to leave your license at the rental office when you rent a cart, so be sure to bring it with you.
You will get a better deal if you pay for your cart rental with pesos.
