The Cancun bus fare is now 7.5 pesos per ride, a great bargain for getting around the Cancun area!
7.5 pesos is about 60 cents U.S.
U.S coins are not accepted, if you do not have pesos, you can pay with U.S. dollars. There is a chance if you give a bus driver a $1 bill you won’t get change back, so, best to get some pesos.

New public bus prices effective in March the hotel zone bus will be 8.5 pesos and the bus within the downtown area will be 6 pesos.

The ferry at Gran Puerto and the original ferry at Puerto Juarez has gone up to 70 pesos per person one way, roundtrip, $140 pesos.
