Our first trip to Mexico was 1982, from that very first vacation, we knew we were hooked! Of all the many adventures (aka “trouble”) Perry has gotten me into over the years, this map business has to be the best. You have to understand that Perry has that entrepreneurial spirit that won’t rest until it’s fed! We started out writing a guidebook to Cancun, which had to have a map, Perry is a graphic designer, so the visual aspect had to be there. We realized as we got into the map that we may not need a book at all, why not turn this into a “guide map”. Can-Do Maps & Guides was born, our first edition of the Cancun map was published in 1997, and we’ve been adding new maps and updating them ever since.
We hope you enjoy our creations and they help to make your vacation extra special!

If you’d like to send me an email, it’s at the bottom of the page.
It’s been 2 years since we’ve been to Playa.
On your earlier web site you identified van service that would take us from the airport to Playa. I couldn’t find that on your web site today.
Help!
Ed
Hi Ed,
Check this page on this site
http://www.mapchick.com/travel-tips/transportation/
I list 3 van services to get to Playa there
Love the new website. Congratulations. I posted a link on Unofficial Palladium. Your site just keeps getting better!
Anne on Cape Cod
Thank you Anne! I appreciate you spreading the word
Love the new site and took a photo with our guests this morning at La Selva Mariposa using the map chick maps guiding them to Coba, and want to post a picture for the newsletter, but could not see where to do this. We use the maps and share them with our guests all the time.
Mari & Lou,
I sent you an email. I don’t have a way for you to post the picture here, but if you email it to me I can do it.
Thanks!
Laura
Just back from a week on Cozumel…a trip postponed from 2005….Wilma kinda messed with our plans. I thought the shore snorkeling post Wilma would be nonexistent, which is why I delayed a return trip, but actually it wasn’t bad. We saw the damage (sad) and tried to use our minds eye to imagine what it once was, but we found some good places using your pre-wilma reef map.
My wife had a copy of your 2005 Cozumel Map and I had your 2008 map…the differences were interesting…I think the 2005 map had more info…but both were indispensable..we used them every day and got a whole lot more out of our vacation that we would have without them.
Like I tell everyone making a trip…Your Maps are money well spent.
Thanks.
Thanks Bosco!
I’ll have to get that 2005 map and see what we did different
Hey there I stumbled upon your site by chance, I was digging around Yahoo for things to do on Oahu when I came upon your blog, I must say your site is really intriguing I just love the content, its amazing!. I don’t have the time in this instance to fully read through your website but I have saved the location of it and also signed up for your RSS feeds. I will be back when I free up some time. Thank you for a excellent site.
We are hoping someone will give us accurate info on the ADO bus schedules from particulary Tulum to Mahahual. We will be doing that on Sunday January 24th 2010. Thanks!
Hi Darlene,
I’ll try to get that information for you next week, if you can send me an email after Jan 10, I’ll try to have it for you.
Darlene…update.
Look s like they only have one first class bus to Mahahual on the 24th at 9:55 am.
They don’t post all of the schedules in the Tulum bus station like they do in Playa or Cancun, (although those signs at those stations aren’t always correct!) They just pulled it up on their computer and told me. So, like most everything down things could change, especially bus schedules.
Do you have a site to print a mwxico tourist card/visa. So we can fill them out early and copy the info over on the good one on the plane?
Hi – I am interested in ordering some maps, however I am worried that we won’t get them in time as we leave from Ontario Canada on the 25th..
Any idea how long shipping would take?
Thanks
Hi,
I ship the same day I get your order, shipping to Canada can take a week but has taken up to 3 weeks for some reason, I’m sorry I can’t tell you for sure.
This is a posting from a customer from Canada on the Locogringo message board on 1/11/10
Hi Tim,
I don’t have a printable one at the moment, but will get that added!
This is what we have now

My wife and I just want you two to know how phenomenal a “product” (your maps) are. We went to Isla first trip. Send to Akumal. And this winter, back to Akumal. But without your maps, it would have been much more confusing and haphazard to find sh*t.
What we both marvel at is….. how in the hail did you acquire so much accurate detail about every restaurant, snack joint, bar, hotel, condo….. it boogles the mind.
And I have to admit, that when one first sees you on the website, then your charming and lovely family members, one might have to be forgiven for thinking, “is this woman, like an ex Southern Cal cheerleader/twirler? and are her maps worth anything”.
Folks, anyone who read this…. I am telling you: I you are going anywhere on the Yucatan coast, you NEED to get the maps they offer. First of all, the maps are huge foldouts, and each side has non-duplicate information about….. everything! I swear, you folks must know this coast about as well as anyone.
So, citizen who are surfing the net….. Papa Grande commands you…. for your own good!!! Get the maps you need from MapChick.
What will happen is, your sig. other may grumble, and you say… but this guy, Papa Grande says we really should have these maps. And then your partner will say, well, okay… so what. We’re spending so much on this trip anyway… why not a couple of maps.
So you buy them. Wait. And when they come in the mail, you will unfold them and marvel at what you see. Accurate–deadly accurate info about everything. I am not sh*t’n you.
So you and your family, we couldn’t do it without you guys. Seriously. What a wonderful way to live your dream AND to sell such a needed service to us gringos.
Buena suerta, vida y donde esta mi tequila y camarones?
