The Cancun bus fare is now 7.5 pesos per ride, a great bargain for getting around the Cancun area!
7.5 pesos is about 60 cents U.S.
U.S coins are not accepted, if you do not have pesos, you can pay with U.S. dollars. There is a chance if you give a bus driver a $1 bill you won’t get change back, so, best to get some pesos.
