A new Italian restuarant called “Maximum” is now located on Av. Hidalgo across from Asia Caribe, # E48 on the Isla Mujeres restaurant map.

We had dinner at Maximum last night (Jan 8, 2010) and had the lasagna
and pasta alfredo. Everything was wonderful, including the three
desserts and coffee that came with our specials: incredibly smooth
and creamy flan with chocolate sauce drizzled over and around it; a
rich and delicious custard over chocolate cookie crumbles; and a
moist and flavorful vanilla cake with a butter vanilla icing and real
whipped cream. We also enjoyed the other patrons, one of whom we had
encountered at lunch earlier in the day, making for pleasant
conversation. Highly recommend Maximum. Everything was excellent
and especially the pasta which is made at the restaurant.
